A national programme of volunteer engagement training 2017-18

PrintVolunteer Makers, with funding support from Arts Council England, is running a national programme of training in volunteer engagement for accredited museums in England.

The programme will support museums in developing an organisation-wide approach to volunteering that grows volunteering in areas beyond traditional operational volunteer roles and with a more diverse volunteer workforce .

We are running a series of seminars and workshops throughout the programme and will include details of these here, along with information for delegates and participating organisations.

Training Workshops

As part of the national volunteer engagement training programme we are running a series of workshops helping museums to develop a blended approach to volunteering using free digital tools provided by Volunteer Makers.

We are looking for 30 accredited museums in England to work with, delivering a free one-day Volunteer Makers workshop.

You can get further information on the workshop programme and apply to take part here.
